"Mighty Mick's Boxing Gym" Rocky Balboa tee

Most things don’t mean the same to you now as they did over 25 years ago, but the words of Mickey Godmill do.

Hearing Mickey yell, “You gotta eat lightin’ and crap thunda!” in the first “Rocky” makes me want to, well, eat lightning and crap thunder. If you aren’t motivated by the gravely voiced, 76-year-old boxing trainer motivating the lovably illiterate, seemingly washed up boxer, then you just aren’t American.

I have come across many people, mostly ladies and people born after 1988, that have never even seen “Rocky.” I get very upset at you people, mainly because I just don’t understand you. I recently played “Rocky” for my wife, and she laughed at Rocky screaming for Adrian at the end. I was confused, insulted, and trying to figure out how I could have her arrested. I seem to put a lot more reverence in this movie than some people, but then again, the people I like most feel the same way about Rock and Mick as I do.

To make it easier for us to spot each other, I made a tee that would not only look great as we punched beef and chased chickens in between training sessions at Mighty Mick’s Boxing Gym, but also make both Burgess Meredith and Mickey Godmill proud.
